We’re an anomaly because we actually managed to become friends in our twenties. We met at a community radio station - where we honestly fell in love at first sight and started making content together. When we started posting on TikTok, we honestly didn’t expect anything to come from it, but we’ve managed to build a community that we are really proud of. We call them the Gallies and they are honestly the most supportive audience - we owe everything to them. We also have a podcast which is where the Gallies really shine, each week we listen to voicenotes of dilemmas, confessions and hilarious stories. We love it so much because it’s a constant reminder that you’re rarely alone. We spend most of our time, when we’re not creating content, shopping, eating and drinking coffee, or lying horizontal on Al’s sofa watching TV.

OKAY, IT’S VALENTINE’S DAY - SITUATIONSHIP, TO GIFT OR NOT TO GIFT?
Ally: Not to gift. No need to waste money on someone you’re not sure on - buy yourself something instead.
G: I love to gift so maybe I would do something small and funny but I’m definitely at risk of scaring someone off - so maybe follow Al’s advice.
TELL US THE STORY OF YOUR MOST MEMORABLE V DAY (GIFT INCLUDED)?
Ally: So last year I actually forced my boyfriend to come to our Galentine's day event. He was a great sport and spent all night chatting to the Gallies. We then went for dinner afterwards, but G came so it wasn’t exactly romantic, although he did buy us both a dozen roses.
G: That was a brilliant Valentine's Day, and to be honest I way prefer Galentine's to a Valentine's, even when I’m not single! My most memorable V Day is probs when a boyfriend gave me a £150 vouchers for Victoria's Secret.
