This remarkable volume reproduces a unique photographic album created by legendary fashion photographer Helmut Newton. Inspired by Expressionist cinema, film noir, and surrealism, Newton’s bold and provocative images helped redefine modern photography. Compiled in 1999 with friend and collector Gert Elfering, the original ‘One-off’ album brought together more than 100 carefully selected works. Reproduced at the album’s original size, the book includes Polaroids, chromogenic prints, and gelatin silver photographs, each accompanied by Newton’s handwritten annotations. With additional insights from the Helmut Newton Foundation, it offers a rare glimpse into the artist’s creative process and a striking tribute to his enduring influence.
